The Monkton Prep School 2006 Senior Play was 'Oliver!' - the musical by Lionel Bart.

The well-known story of the boy who asked for 'more' was wonderfully brought to life by Years 7 & 8.  Directed by Mr Stafford, with musical accompaniment directed by Mr Sibley, it carried on Monkton's fine tradition of excellent dramatic entertainment.  There were many notable performances from, amongst others, Abby Wynn, Amelia Dabell, Robin Harris, Harry French, Paul Wright and Harry Horner. Several of their performances would not at all have shamed a professional stage - and the audiences clearly agreed, giving the final performance a standing ovation!  Congratulations to one and all!
